After successful completion of this
course students are expected to be able to:
Demonstrate understanding and
knowledge of the basic remote sensing theories, concepts and methods taught
in the course;
Analyse the use of remote sensing
for various spatial problems;
Apply digital image processing
techniques for spatial problems;
Explain the application
possibilities of remote sensing for the inventory, monitoring and policy
making in the fields of agriculture, forestry, land use, agrohydrology,
nature conservation and environmental issues.
