Working methods

Most parts of the course are done in groups of 2 students using a computer.

Regularly introductory lectures are given at the beginning of the morning. A copy of the lecture sheets is available at the BlackBoard site of this course.

The exercises are described in the practical manual. This is available at the BlackBoard site of this course.

Theoretical aspects are described in the book "Fundamentals of Satellite Remote Sensing, An Environmental Approach" of Emilio Chuvieco, 2016, Second Edition (ISBN 978-1-4987-2805-8). This book can be bought by the student at the WUR-Shop in the Forum building. This book is recommended, but not obligatory.
