The teaching programme consists of basic courses for different Wageningen studies, a MSc programme in Geo-information Science for Dutch and International students and a so called “Interspecialisatie Geo-informatiekunde”.
Important research themes are: providing geo-information for rural areas, rural areas monitoring, scenario studies and visualisation and communication of geo-information. Imaging spectroscopy and high resolution satellite imagery are important research activities of the remote sensing group. Accuracy is an important topic for the GIS-group.
